Jean-Paul Meus

Initiator

The 10 Minutes a Day adventure started after Jean-Paul sold his international Christmas Decoration company in 2016. He was advised to let things go and start a new path. Which path he did not know on that particular May 5, 2016. He rested on an idyllic beach in Bali and suddenly saw rubbish everywhere. He had never noticed that before. He picked up a plastic bag that was blowing in front of his feet. And he has not stopped ever since: cleaning up other people’s mess every day. Without skipping 1 day. 10 Minutes a Day was born.

My small initiative with big impact

The DigitXation of the Lab: From Digital Dreams to Real Efficiency Gains

The path to a Digital Lab and the accompanying transformation is the latest approach to optimize the lab efficiency triangle of turnaround time, quality, and cost. The quest towards a paperless lab over the last 20 years was very often compromised by a reality check when it came to actual implementation projects. This webinar will discuss approaches and prerequisites towards digitizing the lab operation. How do we find the sweet spot between our aspirations, the heterogenous lab environments and tangible outcomes during this journey?  It all starts with your real challenges and problems you are trying to resolve. The digital lab is not a goal, but a means to an end! Standardization, closing electronic gaps between information systems and instruments, bringing all your lab data into one place resolve a lot of issues and are tangible steps to the ultimate goal: A highly efficient lab where you are able to create and manage all your content and its context with the optimal digital user experience.
The good news is that you can start today. It’s about implementation and not innovation.
