The FEA 1st Industrial Safety Webinar related to key issues across the aerosol manufacturing chain on Thursday, 30 October 2025 was a great success with more than 60 participants.

Volker led the audience on a journey to learn more deeply about safety in the different steps of producing an aerosol dispenser product, covering issues from single aerosols to tank trucks, including their liabilities. Using numerous concrete examples, illustrated by videos, participants were able to react, ask questions, and interact with each other.

Volker Krampe is the Corporate Safety Adviser of Beiersdorf AG, a major cosmetic producer in Hamburg, Germany. A chemical engineer with over 30 years of experience in aerosol safety and dangerous goods transport, he serves as President of the German Aerosol Association (IGA) and chairs the Steering Committee and Transport Working Group of the European Aerosol Federation (FEA). He also represents A.I.S.E., Cosmetics Europe, and FEA at key UN bodies on dangerous goods transport, and represents FEA at ICAO’s Dangerous Goods Panel. Volker is an experienced trainer in dangerous goods compliance and in qualifying Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers.
