FEA releases the first edition of its FEA Guide on Faulty Aerosol Recall / Withdrawal

The purpose of this document is to provide practical safety recommendations on how to handle identified or potentially faulty aerosols along the supply chain and to the final users.
This guidance do not cover how to handle identified or potentially faulty aerosols at company premises. In these cases, see the FEA Guidelines on Basic Safety Requirements in Aerosol Manufacturing and the FEA Guidelines on Basic Safety Requirements in Aerosol Storage.
The guidance intends to cover all types of locations and to provide practical tips to withdraw or recall identified or potential faulty aerosols in these specific locations.
However, this document does not intend to provide guidance to comply with legal product recalls and other mandatory corrective actions.
