About FEA > Vision & Mission

The FEA (Fédération Européenne des Aérosols or European Aerosol Federation) was founded in 1959.
Today it represents 18 European countries which include more than 500 companies active in the aerosol industry. These range from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to multinationals. FEA has also corresponding members worldwide.

Industry Vision

The aerosol industry wants to contribute to a sustainable economical growth by assuming its social and environmental responsibilities and by making a convenient and high performing contribution to everyday life. In practice this means:

actively assessing the environmental impact of the products placed on the market;

constantly working towards technical and economic solutions to reduce their environmental footprints;

continuously developing guidelines on industrial safety and promoting good industrial safety practices;

being recognised as a resource and relevant partner in official consultations;

looking to provide the most convenient and high performing consumer experience.

FEA Mission

FEA is the European coordination office for its national aerosol associations:

to improve the understanding of the European aerosol industry point of view mainly towards UN and EU Institutions;

to collaborate with other business associations on an ad hoc basis;

to improve the awareness of the European aerosol industry values.
